Michrom Bioresources, Inc., an innovative microfluidics company with an established 20 year history in proteomics is seeking 1099 hunters for scientific instrument sales.

Description
The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, professional individual with a working knowledge of multi-dimensional LCMS in the field of qualitative and/or quantitative proteomics or drug discovery. The technical representative will combine their scientific background with selling skills to identify opportunities and close deals for Michrom Bioresources’ automated multidimensional HPLC applications, instrumentation, and new MS CaptiveSpray technology.
Key Duties
- Perform direct presentations of Michrom products to life science customers
- Identify and source new business resulting in the growth of the territory
- Prospect to uncover new leads
- Network through existing customers.
- Cold call on potential customers where account access is available.
- Manage a customer base.
- Develop and monitor monthly sales forecast
- Provide quotations to customers and close sales.
- Call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, and/or talk with customers by phone.
Requirements
- BS degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or equivalent (advanced degree preferred)
- 3+ years related direct life science product sales experience with a demonstrated track record of successfully expanding a territory
- LC/MSMS experience in Proteomics
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently
